Two of Fort Wayne Wolverines own sign professional contracts with Mississippi Raiders Arena Football team. Kavon Anderson and newcomer Joseph Gary attended a try out for the Raiders recently and both have signed professional contracts for the 22′ season that kicks off in the American Indoor Football Alliance on March 26th vs the Tampa Bay Cyclones.
Defensive Captain Kavon Anderson has played for the Fort Wayne Wolverines since the creation of the team in 2020, he has been named captain both seasons he has played as well as Defensive Player of the Year, and Defensive MVP in 2021. Kavon is a leader on and off the field and shows that with his game play, he will be heading to Miami to play with the Fort Wayne Wolverines in the Sunshine Bowl on February 20th.
Joeseph Gary, born and raised in the Mississippi has signed his first professional contract as well with the Mississippi Raiders and will also be playing with the Fort Wayne Wolverines on February 20th in Miami. Both Kavon and Joe leave for Raider’s training camp on February 2nd.
